Applaws Pouch in Broth is a supplementary food for adult cats made from 100% genuine and natural ingredients. All additives such as preservatives, flavor enhancers or colorings have been omitted.
The ingredients used in Applaws wet food are sourced to the highest ethical standards.
Applaws wet food provides high-quality proteins that are important for maintaining muscles.
The high moisture content in Applaws wet food helps your cat stay hydrated.

Food is good but quality control is terrible
Some bags will be full of food, others will be more liquid and much less food. I doubt any of the bags add up to the advertised weight, very small amount in each bag.

Very popular
I have 3 cats and all of them love Applaws in broth pouches. My domestic shorthair Juju is a big fish fan. His favourite is the tuna with anchovy (which stinks but you do see the generous proportion of whole anchovies). He only has half a pouch at a time and is happy with that (& fills up on dried food). I wish the pouches had the mackerel & sardine but they only come in tins. Pretty expensive but very clearly quality food and never wasted.

My cats don't like it, just waste of money for us, they eat better gourmet selection.

Seems like quality pieces of meat in broth. One cat really likes this, and my other cat won't touch it (so i buy it regularly for one of them).
Sometimes the meat chunks are a little big, and need mashing down.

Delicious, but watery...
My cat absolutely loves these packs, he wolfs them down instantly (the fish selection especially). I, unfortunately, do not. Most of the pouch is broth, which makes me question its value for money. I am a big fan of Applaws food, but I will not be purchasing these again.

All broth, hardly any meat.
We've been buying the Applaws pouches for a long time, the cats love the chicken varieties. However it appears that the recipe has changed, the last two boxes have contained noticeably less chicken. The pouches have become very watery, I assume to make up the weight from the reduction in meat content. We opened a chicken and pumpkin pouch last night, it was broth, pumpkin and harding any chicken! Unsurprisingly the cats have hardly touched it!

My cats like the food but I hate how difficult the packets are to open so I wont be buying them again

Excellent variety
Good for variety saving on the product when these multi flavours satisfy several picky cats. I suggest from zooplus an ideal silver metal spoon/fork buying llent quality ideal for extraction from pouches lasts ages strong doesn't tarnish good price

A treat for my "dry" cats!
My cats have a grain free diet of dry cat food so this is a little treat once a week (a pouch shared between two or three if the stray is around and they love it. It seems to agree with their tums but they are VERY discreet about their bathroom habits so not totally sure! But, it is gone in a flash!

Very happy kitty!
After feeding my bengal a supermarket brand cat food since he was a kitten I realised the meat content wasn't very high in that particular kind. I changed one of his 3 pouches a day to applaws and he suddenly seemed happier, he loves having his Applaws every day! The best thing about this food is you can actually tell what it's supposed to be, it does smell a little but it looks like proper chicken or fish. Also my little kitty doesn't smell so bad litter tray-wise, happy kitty, happy parent :) My only problem is it's a bit pricey otherwise I would feed him these pouches for every meal.

Where's the fish?
I used to buy applaws in cans and noticed that after a while the quality changed. There was more and more liquid and less and less fish - particularly in the tuna and prawn so I stopped buying it.
I then saw the pouches so started to purchase them. I noticed on my last order they again started to look much less full than previously so I have started to weight the actual contents and there have been packs with as low as 57g in. Surely that can't be right??
They're very expensive and if they aren't full packs that makes them extremely poor value. Beware!

Ok, but expensive.
My cats rather liked this to begin with, but now are bored with it.
Its also expensive for a 70g pouch when you have more than one cat.
It looks good, smells ok, and i can give it to my little kitten who has tummy problems, but now he turns his nose up, and i will have to wait a while before i introduce it back into his daily food.

A great treat
I really liked the idea of feeding my ragdoll kitten some healthier more natural food so I bought these.
There's no way I can afford to make these his regular food, I'm sticking with kitten pouches and dry food, but instead I give him a third of an Applaws pouch as a treat. He adores it, he absolutely loves the taste and even licks the bowl clean. It's such a convenient and healthy way to give him a nice treat every day, and a wonderful alternative to the regular food he gets.
The quality is so good you almost want to eat the chicken variety yourself...heck, I never thought I'd say that about cat food lol

A real hit!
My cat is ever so fussy when it comes to food and Applaws has to be his favourite. He loves the chicken ones and a couple of the seafood ones. He makes a really cute little noise when he takes his first mouthful (it's the same noise he makes when he gets a nice bit of chicken for a treat!) He really enjoys this food, particularly the chicken and pumpkin and chicken and asparagus! A real hit with a fussy cat!
