My cat with kidney problems tried 2 or 3 different types of kidney food but did not like either but she really likes the purina pro plan and eats it all up

Soft chunks but could b a bit smaller,lots of gravy,.Our nearly 19 year old likes this alot!

My nineteen year old cat loves this food, a clean bowl every time. But when will there be more stock in?

a renal food my cat actually likes. She has tried Hills & Royal Canin but just licks the gravy & leaves the 'meat'. Have tried the packs made up of food from different makers - turns her nose up at all of them. She likes kibble very much but she does need to eat wet food. We had resorted to Untamed shredded chicken in jelly, it is not a complete food but at least she ate it! Fingers crossed we have succeeded with Purina. She is never going to be in the clean plate club but its a start xx

My 18 year old cat who is very fussy absolutely loves this food. I am hoping it makes him feel better which is why he loves it so much. He has definitely picked up since having it as he had lost a lot of weight because of his Thyroid. His coat has improved. He is happy so I am happy :) x

My lovely cat Daisy is 16 yrs 6 months, and losing weight for over a year, from almost 5 Kilos to just over 3. But otherwise is in good order. She has had umpteen tests as suspected hyperthyroidism but it turns out to be stage 2 kidney disease. I dreaded trying to get her to eat a renal diet as she would only eat one brand of real tuna and consistently turned up her nose on processed bits in gravy, but is enjoying this food to my surprise. I have to mash it otherwise just licks the gravy!!

She has a very selective taste and she loves that. I usually add some warm water, to increase her intake water. The only thing I don't agree with is the manufacturer's recommendation for daily servings. My cat is 2.6kg and I am offering 3 pouches a day. According to the packaging recommendation, it would only be 2 or 2 1/4, which is very little...

My old guy loves the gravy too much and so I have to mash the formed meat into the gravy. It's a favourite and helps preserve his dodgy kidney function.

People with cats suffering from renal failure will know how difficult it can be to get them to eat. We tried a total of 7 different types of renal food; Purina chicken and salmon are the only ones he’ll eat with delight. The strong smell and taste (compared to the other renal wet food) keeps him healthy and happy.

Lucy has always been very fussy about food, and would only eat a specific dry food. Then she stopped eating at all, and was sick every time she ate anything. After many expensive investigations, the vet diagnosed poly-cystic kidneys, and prescribed a renal diet. As my daughter's cat was also on a renal diet, I tried several foods before deciding which to buy. This is very much her favourite, and she now eats (or rather licks the gravy off) 2 pouches a day, plus a small handful of dry food.

My recently diagnosed renal cat Ykie loves this food and I must say it does smell good ! I interchange with Kattivit pouches and sometimes mix with some normal cat food she likes. I also use the additive powder in normal food too as unfortunately we know what cats are like!! I need to keep her feeding well and happy for what time she has left, she is around 16. My old cat has kidney disease - I do a 50/50 mix of this with cooked fish or chicken - and he loves it. He then has half a pouch for supper and is a very happy cat, while helping keep his kidney function as efficient as possible.

This is the only renal diet product my boy will consistently eat. We have tried them all.

My cat love this new food from Purina One. He has to have renal food and doesn't like Royal Canin, Hills or Kattovit. He can't get enough of this in either Chicken or Salmon flavours and I am so happy I have found something wonderful.

My cat Tucky had stopped eating his usual renal food so i thought i would try him with another brand. He instantly ate it all up and enjoyed it. This food is a very reasonable price i only ordered one box incase he didnt like it, i will now be trying him with the other flavours.

My cat was diagnosed with renal failure about six months ago, and he hated every food I tried him on (Royal Canid, Hills, Kattovit). I was becoming very concerned as he was eating less than a pouch of food a day and had lost 1/5th of his body weight.
