Very well designed with a small lip to catch drips. Fab! I had previously bought the older red version referred to in reviews: the first time it was great, the second time the dye came off whenever damp. So this new one is a definite improvement

I think some of the reviews must be for an earlier model. This a flexible, light blue mat, no colour transfer observed. Easy to clean and stops the bowls sliding around.

Can't even wipe any food off without taking the red coating off. Not fit for purpose.

Got this as I'm a big Simon's Cat fan! Unlike other reviewers, I have not had any problem with the color coming off the mat when washed. The reverse side is white and this is a reasonably sturdy but flexible mat and serves its purpose.

Colour comes off

My cat likes to take his food out of the bowl and eat it off the mat. Unfortunately this has resulted in the red coming off the matt. Avoid if your cat like eating off the floor (Matt in this case).
