Too many small bits
The chicken used to be very good but now the pack is mostly small bits which aren't easy to feed as treats, if these are XXL the standard size must be powder. Also more hard bits and lower quality with a price increase. Going to try the other brand despite that getting recent poor reviews.

Shockingly Expensive!
My cats love the chicken which I’ve been
buying for years despite variations in quality. But the price has repeatedly increased to an silly level. Caviar might be cheaper!

Cost
We bought 3 tubs with the special offer in October for £30. 2 months later they are £60 with a special offer, so the price doubled in 2 months, rip people off much?

Quality has deteriorated
These are now insanely expensive and the quality is shocking. The salmon tubs are 50% dust which my cats don't enjoy.

Used to be great... now ignored
Mixture of hard, dry or clearly distasteful to our two.
They used to bite my hand off for the chicken ones - as much a useful thing for summoning them as anything else!

Quality of these has consistantly got worse, have been buying these for years, now the quality is terrible at £106 per kg etc, like someone else says 2/3x price of fillet steak, somebody is taking pet owners for a joke, ridiculous, such a shame my cat LOVES these, or he used to. Get your Quality control sorted out, COSMA

Unpredictable
I love using Zooplus, delivery is excellent. BUT These were my reason for coming to zooplus
I used to be so happy with the multipack special offers.. and I and my 4 cats super excited when the box arrived.
They were so good every time. But after a few big disappointments of either too hard or crumbled products, I am nervous when they arrive, And only buy singly now 😔

Great for my XL Maine Coons!
I have 2 fussy Maine Coon cats - she loves chicken flavours and will usually tolerate fish; he loves fish flavours but won't touch chicken. The Cosma XXL has been a godsend for treat time. They both love the white fish then salmon and tuna.
Each day they nudge me for our afternoon tea break, when they get 5 treats each as a catching game. However, recently the salmon chicken and tuna treats are crumbling in the tubes but the white fish is generally intact

Chicken just flaxes!!!
My cats love these snacks, but recently the quality of the dry chicken is non existent and a total waste of money. What a shame as I buy it all the time for them.
Fish products are fine nice square blocks.

Too broken up
My cats love these, really go mkad for them but they are just too broken up and I end up sprinkling it on their food. makes a lot of mess. Great value but I will go back to Thrive who are £10 dearer but easier to deal with.

Not XXL
I have bought these for a number of years and my cats prefer the XXL as they love to chase after them as a game
This batch were definitely not XXL, my cats wouldn't even get out of bed for them.

Quality not the same
I have been ordering these treats for many months as my cats love them. Their favourite is Chicken. The previous lots had decent pieces of chicken, which the cats loved. This time there are few chicken pieces and more shreds, which the cats don't enjoy. I have to sprinkle it over their food rather than give it as a treat. Not at all happy, considering, it is a very pricey treat.

Salmon Updated review (April 2022)
The treats are almost back to normal. I still find little rock hard pieces but most of them now crumble like they use to, and my toothless kitty can enjoy them without the fear of chocking, and vomiting, and my other very fussy kitty can now chew them.

Okay over freeze dried/ not usually quality!
The cats will still eat them but be sure to add extra extra water to diet as these have definitely been over freeze dried. They’re bordering on dessicated no longer large chunks of freeze chicken

Changed recipe - much too hard
Have bought these in bulk for years and quality consistently good until recently - recipe has changed and they are far too hard and in much smaller pieces.

Rock hard chicken
The recipe has definitely changed Zooplus will not accept this
I have sent pictures ok they sent a replacement which were exactly the same
Tiny rock hard nibbles not the soft pieces they used to be

Decline in quality
My cats usually love these. However in the last 2 packs I purchased, particularly the chicken flavour, the XXL pieces have been tiny, bitty, very hard pieces and my cats just left them so ended up binning them. These are too expensive to end up binning😠.
Zooplus, get a grip, if your product says XXL pieces then that is what it should contain not just hard bitty crumb like pieces.

Cat crack
My cats(and golden retriever) are absolutely obsessed with these! They smell quite strong, it’s been handy for getting my cat to come back inside with them.
My bsh is sensitive with treats like dreamies etc but she’s fine to eat these too.

What happened?
Although expensive I didn't mind getting these because my cats adore them. However, the last order each tube was filled with rock hard cubes half the size of the usual pieces. The cats all turned their noses up at them.
Has the recipe / process been changed or was this a one off bad batch ?

They have changed the recipe for Salmon
My cat only liked the "Salmon Snackies", I had some left from my previous order and the ones from the new order look completely different so as expected, my cat refuses to eat them. They look like the "White Fish snackies" that my cat hates, and they also won't crumble like the previous "Salmon Snackies we used to receive.
I hate when cat food companies do this because we all know how PICKY cats can be, so changing recipes is not going to keep their furry customers happy.
