Hill's Prescription Diet Feline k/d Kidney Care - Chicken (dry food)
About six months ago I left a good review for Royal Canin Renal biscuits. These have indeed done a great job at improving my cat's kidney function. However, he's always had very soft stools on this diet, and a threshold was crossed recently in terms of what was reasonable and manageable. So we switched a couple of weeks ago to Hills k/d Kidney Care. He absolutely loves these and wolfs them down, and the stools are a healthy consistency. Hopefully they will be as good for his kidneys!

Cat on renal diet loves it
Trying to keep our cats diet varied and with biscuits he likes now he had early kidney disease was hard, but after reading others positive reviews I decided to give this a go and can confirm my cat loves them!

Good alternative to Iams

Saved our cat!
Our cats are 15 years old and both have kidney disease. One had lost a ton of weight and was being sick every day so I decided to try changing the biscuits to Hills after reading promising reviews from other customers. They were having royal canin renal bisc before.
I can honestly say it was the best decision we ever made. The daily vomiting has stopped entirely and he’s put on weight. Both our cats adore these biscuits! Highly recommend trying them if your cat is in a similar state!

A changed cat
My cat was diagnosed with kidney failure a year ago and the vet recommended this food. He doesn’t like the wet food but loves the biscuits and he is doing great. Has put on weight, coat is shiny again and is a really happy cat.

Elderly cat loves these biscuits
Our beautiful boy has developed kidney problems so we had to his change diet. He is very fussy and will not eat any prescription wet food but luckily he loves these biscuits and he has started putting on some weight.

A real winner
Our Millie has only ever eaten the Science Diet but will only touch the chicken variety, so when the vet said she had to go on a kidney sensitive diet we were worried she'd literally turn her nose up at it. Thankfully she loves this and her blood tests results are improved because of it. Couldn't ask for more.

Great for an elderly cat
Our cat who is 20, started having 2 or 3 fits a day for several weeks last year. Having read about the possible cause of a fit being kidney trouble we gave our kitty both the dry and wet Hills KD cat food..After a couple of days the fits stopped and she hasn't had one for 8 months! We have recently tried the KD food with joint support and have found that she is moving easier and her coat is in great condition. I definitely recommend this food. Our cat has a new lease of life and is very content.

A life saver
One of my cats, a 14 year old, was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. Having had previous experience with another cat refusing to eat any type of renal food I was rather worried. Although she refused to eat any of the various wet foods she was fine with dry. She was skin and bones to start off with but after having initially Royal Canine's dry renal food, which she ate, she absolutely blossomed when introduced to Hill's. She really savours it and has regained her weight and her vitality.

Helps poor appetite and weight loss
My 16 year old cat with kidney disease was struggling with poor appetite and losing weight, but he loves this dried food (not so keen on the pouches), he's still a bit thin but has definitely put on some weight and his fur is lovely and glossy. I haven't had to hand feed him since he started this food. Hopefully it'll help keep him going for a while yet!

Life saver
My cat was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and the vet recommended to change his diet to a special kidney food. After changing his diet to Hills kidney care he is a changed cat has put on weight and lives a happy life we highly recommend this product.

Excellent
My cat has chronic renal failure and this was recommended by the vet. He's had it for over a year now and he's so much happier and stronger! It is also very much cheaper in the UK than in Sweden where I lived before. A 5 kg bag costed around 56£ there. Very pleased with this!

Life saving
My 8 yrs old Birman had kidney problems. Even tho he was eating ok he was still getting smaller has been throwing up on a daily basis. He was all about the crap wet food wasn't so keen on dry before i put him on these kibbles. He absolutly loves them. He prefers them to wet food and will munch on them all day long..he's not only put all the weight back on in just few days being on Hills k/d but he's the heaviest he's ever been (always been slim). His fur looks amazing shiny,smooth was scruffy before. His mood improved. Never looked healthier. Couldn't recommend this enough. A real life saver

Ended the vomiting and lethargy
Our vet told us that both our cats had mild issues with their kidneys. They were lethargic, throwing up a lot and drinking a lot of water. 2 days with this cat food and that all stopped. Furthermore they love eating it which is incredible as they normally tire of the same wet cat food quickly. A truly superb product.

Hill's Prescription Diet Feline k/d
Our fifteen year old rescue cat, Candy, has been having this dry food for around two years or more, since our Vet recommended it. We tried her with a small amount at first and she loved it from the very beginning. Previously she had been eating other very good dried food for years, but it was now the time to change to a prescription diet, our Vet told us.
Candy is doing very well on this food and is quite active for her age. I would not change her diet now. Recommended.

Hill KD Dry food
My cat Jasmine had to go onto Renal food after kidney problems and a kidney bypass operation. This is the only food she enjoys, apart from lapping up the gravy from Royal Canin Renal food. It was a relief when we finally found a food she would eat as she was quickly loosing weight and things were not looking good for her. So we are really happy that this food has saved her.

Exceptional
This food saved my 6 year old cat with chronic renal failure. He was very very ill but has overcome the crisis thanks to this kibble. He eats this with gusto and hasn't been ill since we switched to this food.

Perfect!

It's perfect
My cat has happily eaten this from the first day we gave it to him. When he started getting bad kidneys and had to change his diet, this food meant it wasn't a big problem. All K/D range products work well with my cat, including the pate, wet food and dry food. Even the rest of my healthy cats like it! I would recommend it 100%.
