This food caused my cat betty to be immensely constipated.She was put on this by a vet as she was obese. A very expensive trip to the emergency vet and a painful procedure later she is on the road to recovery. I will never buy this again.

My cats love Hill's dry foods and my overweight cat is gently losing weight on this. The kibble is small in size which is perfect for her as she has no teeth! Highly recommend.

Gave Boris the runs no matter how much i give him. Tried little by little & mixing it with his usual which weirdly, is the metabolic one & he cant stop with the runs. Wouldnt recommend or buy again

We tried this because one of our cats needs to lose weight. (We currently use Hills Prescription i/d, which our cats love). They refuse to eat the Weight Reduction r/d - even when we mix it with the i/d they will pick out the i/d biscuits and leave the r/d in the dish.

Parcel was here in no time, plus my cat loves this food

Our slightly older lady cat loves this food and lost weight really well with it. We started once daily (second meal wet food), and now she only has it every second day for breakfast in order to keep nice and slim.

I bought it as it was recommended by a vet and, for the moment, my cat is absolutely loving it

Unfortunately my moggie has developed a food allergy to this product. I am giving it two stars since he was on it last year for six months and successfully lost weight. Having done so I swapped him into a better quality, no grain option (Taste of the Wild) but when he needed to lose a little bit of weight again I put him back onto Hills. Within a couple of weeks he started sneezing continuously, snoring heavily, shaking his head constantly and chewing his back feet - all classic signs of an allergy. As reintroducing Hills was the only change to his routine my vet suggested I take him off it immediately. Two weeks later the symptoms have cleared up. A shame since it did work previously.

My cats have been eating this food for a while now, and I don't have to take them to the vet anymore. They maintain a stable weight and are glowing with health. Recommended!

My Devon Rex is overweight, so the vet recommended Hill's Prescription Diet Feline r/d. I can only praise this as one of the best dry foods - my two muscly Burmas also love it!

I fed my cat this dry food as a change from their usual diet food. Both cat are just nuts for this food and always want second helpings! The pellets are small and the cats just swallow them in one - not even stopping to chew! I think that Hill's Prescription Diet food is the best diet food... Cats can't resist it and always eat it with gusto!
