For the price this was just meant to be used as a comfy replacement for the flattened base cushion inside a bed. But as this medium size oval cushion is much bigger than I expected and is very generously stuffed with the memory foam flakes; it is well sewn with nice quality fabrics and my two girls are happily using it as an independant bed! They both prefer the plush side, taking it in turns to snooze comfortably! This is a really good buy in my opinion.

Absolutely amazing bed I bought it 3 and a half years ago for my cocker spaniel. I bought the XL so she could sprawl out on it. She's 7 now and still absolutely loves this bed . I absolutely recommend it

My younger dog loves this. she will perch on top of it if possible and finds it very snuggly. It is very well made and has a sensible base to it. It has a zip which means the outside is washable No flimsy fabric is used on the base, or that black stuff with the little perforations which start shedding after a while and fill the washing machine full of little discs. Just a good quality cushion at a reasonable price

My Great Dane is 10 and would not even sit on it the first day until I insisted. He now goes straight into the lounge and plonks himself on it. One very happy old boy and he now seems to move a lot better. Looking to buy another one but larger!

My dog took to it straight away. I was worried that he wouldn't use it. He has been suffering with stiff joints and I think that this cushion is really comfortable for him. He seemed to be able to get up easily. Very happy little dog and owner!

Much better than anything else our dog has had, and she’s had a lot of beds that she’s shunned. Really comfy for her and she likes both sides dependant on the weather.

I bought the XL for my vizsla, will see if I can put up photots so you can see for sizing, its actually huge for him which is what I wanted. He can lie in any way he likes on it. I wasnt expecting much because most beds are more expensive, but it really is super thick and he is a bony dog so he wont lie on just anything, it gets slightly indented in the bit he always lies on (i think he maybe actually likes that though) and I pick it up, shake it about a bit and that sorts it. Highly recommend.

My dog loves this bed, he used to always sleep on the sofa at night but now will come to bed on this cushion. Although slightly disapointed that I didn't wait as the price has dropped a few quid since purchase 2 weeks ago :) although needs must at the time!

Wasn’t quite sure about this when I ordered it as my old lab has always slept in a crate on a fairly hard base. She recently injured her back leg and was very uncomfortable in her crate so we got rid of it and she slept on the floor for a short while. I decided she needed some comfort in her old age but was unsure if she would take to it as she is very funny about change. She absolutely loves it! The added bonus is her joints seem so much better. Absolutely the best thing I ever bought!

Bought this cushion about 10 months ago, so it's had a lot of use & the cover has been washed several times. I like the reversible nature of the cover, smooth side for the heat of summer & furry side for the rest of the year. My only criticisms are that the furry side 'pills' in the wash, though the dogs don't seem to mind, and the zip is so small that it takes 2 of us to extract & then re-insert the filling - ridiculous, there's no reason for it to be that small. Overall, good value.

I originally bought this for my old girl, but can't get my other two dogs off it! So just ordered two more! Lovely quality & it's quite obvious how well they are liked.

Nice comfy bed for my older dog who sleeps a lot more now. Only criticism is the zip is not big enough (and in the wrong place) making the bed very difficult to get back in after washing the cover.

Normally I only write bad reviews ,but this dog bed is excellent value .Had one for 3 months,just been washed and very pleased with it.Going to let the dog sleep on it soon.

I left a review very shortly after I bought this.....Six months now and this ortho bed is still doing absolute wonders for my elderly girl (Golden Retriever 10yrs), I fluff it up every night for her, it's kept both its shape and depth (and she's 40kg). Both back legs cruciates and spine problem, she really does sleep like a log on it. I will definitely be buying another one for the other room, and I really do recommend it for elderly/post op doggies. Very, very happy mom dog ☺☺☺

Excellent value for money. Great beds, very well filled and comfy. I have two large Border Collies. Bought the large, but wish I'd gone for the extra large. They still fit on it, but fall off if they try rolling onto their backs!

I was so relieved to see how relaxed my girl is on this mattress. i bought it about a month ago, she's a golden retriever, ten years old, and presently recovering from a cruciate op, but also has a long term problem with the top of her spine :( even with painkillers, she's been uncomfortable at night with her neck, so I tried this mattress, I can't believe how comfortable she sleeps!! and no longer up all night trying to get comfy. Happy little fur baby so super happy mom dog :) :)
