Please note: This product might take a little longer to arrive as it may be shipped from outside the UK.This aluminium transport crate by Trixie is a safe solution for travelling by car with your dog. The front and back sides are slanted which means that the crate fits easily into the car boot. The crate is constructed to be stable yet light (23kg) as it is made from aluminium.
The high back wall and sides ensure that your car boot stays clean and your pet stay safe. The transport crate has wide bars to ensure that air circulates well and that your pet has a good view out of the rear window of the car. The door on the front side allows your pet to get into the crate easily and has a secure lock. This crate is fitted with a thermal mat for extra comfort while travelling.

Please Note: You will need to introduce your pet to the carrier slowly and carefully. Start by leaving the door open and allowing your pet to enter slowly of its own accord. Then start closing the door and leaving it closed for longer and longer periods of time. After that, try taking the pet carrier for a short spin in the car. The carrier should never be used as a punishment but rather be seen by your pet as a safe, positive place.

Excellent product
Very very good quality. I wanted a cage that doesn't rattle and this is perfect. Takes an hour to assemble and the pictures could be better but it's pretty simple.

superb product!
I bought the large crate for our german shepherd and it was the perfect choice - she loves it.
It is made from excellent materials and assembly was straight forward. Really good value for the money. Service from zooplus was, as always, first class. Highly recommended.

Totally satisfied
I have a 5-6kg dog. Decided to go for size M as it is also perfect for holidays. The material is wonderful, the assembly is a breeze, and everything fit together as it should. No damages, no missing parts.
The box is nice and tall. The anti slip mat is good but a little thin. I will get something else to make it more comfortable. The lock is a joke for bigger dogs but fine for mine.
I've had it for two days and put some treats and toys inside and my dog went in of his own accord, so very good in that respect.
It's quite heavy which was a little unexpected.
The price is very cheap for such a great piece of kit. Especially considering that I've seen some smaller ones going for 200+ quid in retailers.

Solid box, very good value for money
The only cheap box which is almost invincible. Aluminium boxes for twice the price are cheaply made and poorly put together and will last half the time. This box is very solid, and the only one in this price bracket with such high quality materials. The first box since our expensive Alvaris crate which is very solid.

super Box
Originally we had the large box, which was pretty tricky to carry on your own, and now with a new car we've had to rescale a bit, so went for size M. Everything went smoothly, all the bits fit well and it fits really well into the boot of the new car. I have secured it to the back seats to make sure it doesn't slip with sudden braking...

Trixie dog crate.
I bought the medium size, 55 x 78 x 62, for my working cocker spaniel - it's a perfect fit for him. Easy to assemble, very well made and fits in my estate car perfectly. Door catch is easy to open or close with one hand and is well designed Would definitely recommend.

Trixie aluminium dog crate
I bought the M 55 x 78 x 62 trixie crate for my working cocker spaniel. Plenty of room for him and he loves it. Easy to put together very well made. Fits in my Estate car perfect. A nice door catch and big opening. Would recommend .

Great box
Arrived today and put together immediately. Took me less than an hour on my own. Pretty easy, a few ominous pops but no damages. Unbeatable value for money. My ladbrador / golden mix who weighs 25kg at 8 months absolutely loves it.

Ordered yesterday, received today, put together a few hours ago. Needed an extra pair of hands, though.

Fantastic box
We've had this box for a few weeks now and are incredibly happy with it. We use it in our Seat Altea XL, We only decided to buy this quite late, and with some regret, as it turns out this is by far the easiest and safest way to transport a pug. Took some getting used to for her, but works a treat now. Easy assembly. The door rattles while driving sometimes, so we've wedged a towel in there for now, will eventually get round to fixing it properly. Other than that, everything perfect!!

Stable and tidy little box
Had to get a new box because we changed cars. Fits perfectly into the latest Passat. Our dog was instantly at home in his new surroundings. Very quick and easy to assemble. Very stable and robust. I swapped the included carpet for something a bit thicker. I used a bit of extra silicon padding to stop the light rattling, only took about an hour. Easy to do, but by no means necessary. Great value for money !
