CHANGED!
We've been on this brand since he was a puppy and have noticed a sudden change in the texture and colour of the brand and will be calling them to find out why as my dog has started to have an allergic reaction with ear infections and itching all over his body.

Gentle on Tummies
My dog loves this dry food and it's the only one we've found that doesn't upset his tummy. All flavours have been fine with him but the lamb is his favourite

Sneaky weight reduction
I thought I was making things up, but then reading other reviews, realised why we are going through the pack quicker- 3kg less in the bag for more or less the same price. I didn’t get a 20% pay rise this year so I am not sure why Burns think they can sneak one in for themselves. As another reviewer put it - it shows utter contempt for their loyal customer sneaking a weight reduction in under the guise of ‘new and improved’ environmental packaging. May need to change...

Great for sensitive tummy
My border terrier has digestive issues so I have to be really careful what he eats. We have tried several different brands but always come back to Burns Adult Lamb and Brown Rice, he loves it and suffers no problems at all with it!!!

Shrinking bags
Dropped from 15kg to 12kg with no reduction in price. Shrinkflation in action and not good value any more.

Poor way for Burns to treat their loyal customers
I thought we were getting through bags quicker. They've gone from 15kg to 12kg but didn't bother to reduce the price - effectively a 25% price increase. I've used Burns for years but this contempt for their customers makes me want to look elsewhere. BTW Not ZooPlus's fault.

Shrinkation
The bag sizes have changed from 15kg to 12kg. If you go to Burns web pages they herald their new 100% recyclable packaging clearly showing the sizes for the new as 2kg 6kg and 12kg. They do show the old packaging but greyed out and you can barely read the 2kg, 7.5kg and 15kg. Under the banner of recycling they have shrunk the pack size. So returning customers beware; sizes are much smaller than before. If they are advertised at the near same price as before you will be paying about 20% more.

Non-opposable thumbs up
Great quality food. Lasts a good while and keeps Doodles full between meals. No issues with runny or smelly poops with this food and the customer support from burns is brilliant.

Excellent food, price, delivery.
I have been feeding my 9 year old Labrador on Burns food for most of her life with different flavours.... I can’t speak highly enough of it.
It is excellent, she loves it, easily digested, (poo doesn’t have the bad smell tinned food does)
Her coat is shiny and excellent condition. She is a good weight, not fat. I weigh her food each day, to maintain her weight.
The food in the last 15kg bag from Zooplus was in perfect condition, not crushed and I expect this will be the same.

Recommended for Chihuahua's!!!!!
I'm new to the dog scene. I purchased a 2 year old female Chihuahua for my 2 daughter's recently. My local pet shop is owned by a lover of all pets and she strongly advised me to get Pixie on Burns dry food (for small dogs) ASAP. We've never looked back, she eats 2 small bowls per day, supplemented by the odd doggy treat (Burns or Waggs) and odd bit of protein (tuna or fresh chicken/beef). My vet is very happy with her healthy look and diet!

My 3 love it!
I've got 2 border collies one 11 months one 12 years they both love it and it seems to of settled the younger one down no end! My lurcher of 6 years loves it too! They all have lovely coats and far less number twos, that's a winner for me! Worth every penny and more!

Worth paying the extra money
My bullmastiff used to be fed James wellbelloved dry and nature diet wet food. My trainer said that the food was too high in protein and suggested burns instead to help his behaviour. Not only did it calm him down, it is also more gentle on his belly and finds it easier to go to the toilet. I use both flavours of burns dry adult and burns wet food and my boy doesn't leave any crumbs of food and never gets bored as he did with his old food. His coat has improved greatly too. I'm over the moon with the changes. Zooplus makes it cheaper too!!!!

Fab food
My Briard loves this food. It also seems to be easily absorbed and has less 'waste' in the form of poo. Great price here too.

Boomerang
After several years of trying different food, shampoos and skin conditioning products my Labrador still had dandruff. A friend recommended Burns and Ive never looked back. It doesn't even have to be the hypoallergenic Burns products. I've tried him on more expensive, hypoallergenic food and his dandruff returns. My Border Collie eats it too and he can be picky about he's food. Zooplus is usually the cheapest for the 15kg bags. Like a boomerang I always return to Burns and Zooplus.
