My border terrier suffers with itching related to chicken & beef protein. This food suits her extremely well despite the large sized kibble she crunches on it fine and hopefully this will help with her dental health. Fortunately she likes it dry and even my border pup seems keen who also showed signs of itching after eating chicken. He's now on a chicken free puppy until he's old enough to also enjoy this great planet friendly, sustainable option. Keeping dogs healthy & happy GREAT

My 14yr Golden Retriever Gracie, became intolerant to some kind of Protein about a few months ago. My vet suggesting going through all the Protein she has had & eliminate each one for 6 weeks to see what she is reacting to. Or another suggestion was to give her a hydrolysed Protein food. But all i looked at had lots of additives. Then I came across this food, put her straight on it & the changes 24-48 hours later were hugely beneficial! no more diarrhea, no more itching! And She LOVES it

Oscar has been attending the vets since June he had sores on his belly, it was hard getting him to take the dry food , he's always had wet food we persevered and 3 weeks later no sores and no scratching .

I have a pocket bully who suffers with biting his paws and has runny eyes, I've always fed him raw and couldn't figure out what protein he was getting his allergies from, I was told about trying insect protein and within 3days I noticed such a difference I wish I could put pictures on here to show the difference, this food has been amazing and my boy loves it I've bought another 12kg bag

My dog wolfs this down whether it’s dry or wetted so I’m happy. He loves it and will accept it as treats too and he’s very healthy and happy on it. Plus the big sack has a wonderful sliding zipper top which makes opening and closing it a breeze, it’s so good it would almost be worth buying it for this reason alone.

My old staffy has severe IBD & chicken & beef allergies and my jrt is picky. They’re both old (15 & 18), so kibble size is an issue for her as well. While these aren’t small, they’re a sort of flat disc shape and she’s having no issues. Both of them love this food, I switched straight in with no problems & it has a lovely biscuit smell to boot!

Have 3 whippets all with different dietary requirements. I was feeding one on hypoallergenic due to tummy issues and one on sensitive skin the other had a weight problem but I have now been able to put them all onto greenwood’s insect or vegetable kibble. They all look great and they love it.

My dog loves this food but I am going to have to try a different dog food as I find it hard to get a hold of this as its always out of stock on this website and I can not find it anywhere else.

My old English bulldog has a wheat and chicken allergy, tried many dog foods that dont have these ingredients but he never eats them without adding wet food to make them more tasty. Not anymore, he loves this food, it's gone within 5 minutes and always wants more. In addition he has zero issues with allergies anymore, he has never looked so good, lastly its way better for the planet than meat like beef and lamb.

We had been using InsectDog but had ongoing IBS problems with our lurcher, however not with Greenwoods - and having tried most brands (including Yora) this is her favourite. As mentioned by others, let’s hope the larger bags remain available, but it would be nice if they could be made recyclable…

My dog adores this product, especially being a fussy dog with allergies. My dog and her dog friends eagerly wait to be rewarded.

My 7 young dogs (9kg - 40kg and still growing) eat predominantly raw but have kibble at bedtime to overcome raw fed hunger pukes. Had to use cold pressed or they poo yuk. Not now! This is awesome, they ALL eat it with great enthusiasm so can use for training too, ALL digest it perfectly, poo unaffected (little bit softer but that's ok) and it's got more meat content than cold pressed. Mine ALL love ALL 4 FLAVOURS, especially insect and that's planet friendly! All suit them ALL! FAB!!!! 5*!

Top notch food but it’s a shame only small packs are available? With a bigger dog it’s impossible to commit to the brand this way.

I have struggled with our rescue dogs ‘runny tummy’ for years and I’ve tried many sensitive and grain free branded foods. I was stuck cooking for him until I found this. There was an immediate improvement on feeding Greenwoods from the very first meal. I’m now ordering further supplies and both Roscoe and I are very happy ! Love that it’s insect based too.

This was definitely the best value insect food out there. As vegans who are conscious about the environmental impact of meat but who don't want to feed our dog a vegetarian diet this seemed like a good option. Since going on Greenwoods our dogs fur has got glossier, he poo is less runny and she seems. To have put on a little weight, which she struggled to keep on before. We are really happy with this food, I just hope zooplus continues to stock the larger 12kg packs.

I have a sharpei breed who unfortunately suffers with allergies and some protein upsets. Since feeding this he no longer has upset tummy leading to runny poops and also he's less itchy. I also use the green woods wet food with this as its grain free.

Our dogs love this food, even my fussy, anxious boy. They are both looking so healthy and this is definitely the best value insect based dog food I can find.
