Passed the fussy Greyhound test
My greyhound who is a fussy eater and has IBS does really well on this food. I do lightly soak with hot water to bring out the smells, and sprinkle the one meat protein she can eat in it, though it's worked wonders. She's now at perfect weight, her coat is shiny, and she's a very happy dog who looks forward to meal times.

EPI
Our GSD has EPI and this food is the only thing she can eat which we found improves her condition.

Hypoallergenic Poodle
My fussy toy/miniture poodle has never liked any kibble but he likes this one and I have no problem getting him to eat. It had also had a massive impact on him with far less itching and ear infections.

Westiepoo Loves it!
Our westiepoo had a lot of issues of the gastrointestinal kind but ever since a vet recommended z/d food our doggo is back to her usual self. We got her both the wet and dry food, as we mix it up for her and use either as treats. She absolutely loves it and woofs it down. Wish we had known about this sooner!

Yay!!! A JRT that likes this diet!
Gurgling stomach, nausea, dropping weight and no desire to eat anymore. Then we tried Hills ZD Sensitivities diet and we have a different dog! Happy to eat again, in fact he looks forward to it. Poop solid again. We use some kibble as treats too. We use both wet and dry ZD and our Jack Russell is gaining weight again and HAPPY!

Z/d dry dog food
Recommended this by my vet my border collie has Crohn's and was really poorly always at the vets he can only have this food he also has the wet z/d has well. He really loves it . It is expensive but not having to go to the vets has much and his condition is 100 per cent better plus he loves it and always eats it.

can claim on insurance
If you are recommended or prescribed this food by your vet then it may be possible to claim back for it on your insurance.
Make sure it won't increase your premiums too much when you renew though!
My goldie had awful skin irritation problems and this cleared them right up. and the kibble is just about large enough that we can use it as a treat on walks which is a bonus.

Dog says "very Tasty"
Vet recommended Z/D as our lovable dog is very allergy prone.
He never leaves any in the bowl, reminds us when its time to feed him, when we forget. Compared to more popular brands, his waste has definitely reduced and does not smell (much) and no more wind between meals. Safe to say we are all very happy with this

At last, a food that doesn't make her scratch!
After years of skin irritaion, courses of steroids and cyto injection my dog was tested and found to be allergic to Beef, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, Duck, Venison and Soy. After 6 days on this food the irritation is gone and she is losing some of the weight put on during steroid courses. I note the comment that this product contains Soy but I can't find that on the ingredients. The only problem is kibble size; my dog is a Parson Russell terrier so not that big but she just swallows this food whole!

Made it worse
I would advise to steer clear of this dog 'food' if you are not certain what is causing the problem for your dog. It contains maize and soy, two well known ingredients to cause allergies and sensitivities in dogs. In the case of our dog, not only did he not improve, he actually got more poorly on it, it also caused vomiting in one of our other dogs. Consult a canine nutritionist for appropriate diet rather than feed expensive, ineffective highly processed poor ingredients.

serves a purpose
My dog was very ill - couldnt even keep chicken down. after a period of illness culminating in vomitting and extreme diarrhea, this food had instant. food kept down and stools better within days. Vetsexp but good value with zooplus and similar to barking heads which we normally buy. However once my dog has regained has weight I will transition to something else. Its high in fat which may lead to pancreas problems and it doesnt feel like good ingredients. Highly pallatable 4 fussy dog

Super
My beagle suffers from food intolerance and we have been giving him this food for the past 2 years. It took us ages to find the right food and our vet helped us to find something for very sensitive dogs. There is not a huge selection out there, so it's really good that zooplus is now stocking this.

Seems to work
Our dog has stopped itching since we started feeding Hills z/d and her fur is growing back. The only problem is that I have to feed her by hand since she doesn't really like the food. But I'm hoping she will get used to it.

Helps with food allergy
Our Puggle is allergic to several foods, especially those with meat in them. Our vet recommended this food and we are really pleased with the results.
