My dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease after drinking excessively and going off her food. I’ve tried several diets to help keep her weight on and her protein down that she will actually eat, but was struggling to find something she liked. So far after a few weeks she is still really loving this food and has gained weight but her drinking is under control. Definitely worth a try for kidney management.

If all this fat isn't good for humans with kidney disease. As it raises cholesterol and worsens kidneys. Then it can't be good for little dogs. Gar too much fat. All over the food & Tin. A thick layer in the bottom.

My dogs love this. The hills is too expensive. They prefer this. I just really wish they would take care not to add so much fat. It's white on the top & bottom. Is it over healthy. The dogs like but I'm concerned about all the greese

My 14 year old Bishon Frise is in stage 2 kidney issues....Onto renal food vet says....They recommended Purina. I bought the wet and dry....Cookie wouldn't touch the dry....Moved to Hills wet....She hardly touched it so got wasted....Found this Rocco ( my other dog also on normal Rocco and loves it ❤). Cookie gobbles it up, every last bit. She has both the renal flavours and we alternate daily. I've never known her eat so well on dog food....We are now subscribers!!

As the title says Dog loves it and wolfs it down

Very pleased, my dog loves it, vet recommended a well known brand and Toby would not eat it, I had a good look around and came across Rocco and took a chance after reading reviews and so glad I did. Toby eats all his dinner now instead of picking at it and it's great for hiding his tablet in it.He was always a fussy eating and so I would add tiny bit of cheese or ham but don't have to now.

My Yorkie was straight in for this and loved it.Not easy to find renal food to ring the changes

First 6 tins I ordered to see if my 14 year old dog with CKD would take to it - she did so I ordered 24 tins. Unfortunately these were a completely different consistency to the first 6 tins, much more sloppy/runny and were a bit that way on my dogs tummy. Queried this with Zooplus and they refunded the purchase and contacted Rocco - Rocco stated there was no problem with the food and no one else had reported a problem with the same batch as me. Its a shame that there is no consistency..........

My 17 year old dog Rosie has KD, recently diagnosed. We have tried some other KD foods, none of which she would eat. Having found this dog food, let’s give this a go! Wow, she got so excited when I opened the first tinned ate it, licking the bowl so clean and kept going back to it! Thank you Rocco and zoo plus, I am so relieved and the price is affordable now, which eases my mind on the financials of paying for the dog food!

I had not heard of this brand before Zooplus sent an email with a coupon code. Since my Saluki was diagnosed with renal failure I have spent a fortune on renal foods which she will not eat & hours cooking which she will only eat for a short time. I thought, why not try this new brand. She LOVES it and is eating a healthy amount each day with no fuss. Life is much easier so Thank you Zooplus and Rocco.

My fussy chihuahua recently been diagnosed with kidney failure , after trying many brands for his renal diet I have found one he loves by Rocco , my worrying of him not eating enough has been reduced as he loves to eat this Rocco food , thankyou Rocco brand .

The best renal food - of many! - that we have tried for our dog. However, I would be wary of starting to buy this, as ZooPlus seems to have a UK exclusivity deal and they rarely have it in stock. It’s a real pain to have to swap food around all the time so I think we’re going to have to switch permanently.

My old girl was in final stages of kidney failure. 2 Operations later and a course if Rocco renal, all functions normal. Brilliant food.

Hi everyone, my French bulldog has leishmaniasis and it has hit his kidneys, which means he can only eat renal food .. I have tried all the most famous brands on the market, but she didn't like any of them.. last but not least I wanted to try Rocco renal and he enjoyed it, which he showed by eating a whole tin in next to nothing. . I bought the KD treats and mixed them with Rocco renal and he devoured it all.

My dog has CRI and thanks to this food and her medication we were able to improve her situation. Her readings aren't perfect, but they have definitely gotten better. The phosphorus and sodium levels are right on. Pretty standard palatability, my dog got tired of this for a short while but she went back to eating them pretty quickly and now she won't eat anything else. It looks better than most renal foods and the ingredients are great, exactly what it says on the tin.

After trying other more expensive dry food for our recently diagnosed Mastif cross, she finally has found something she likes! Not a fussy dog we thought she would like anything not so, even mutts have standard! She is looking so much better and is definitely happier and more energetic.

this seems to be very tasty for the dog. we add it to his dry food for a kidney-friendly diet and the bowl is empty in a flash :) I recommend it
