About our Charity of the Month scheme:
Every month, zooplus.co.uk teams up with a pet charity to give you the chance to help animals that are not as fortunate as your own. At the end of the partnership, we convert your generous donations into a fantastic parcel of food and accessories for our chosen animal charity.
So how does it work?
Donating is easy! Just save up the zooPoints that you receive with every purchase at zooplus.co.uk (£1 = 1 zooPoint), then log in to myzooplus and add the zooPoints you would like to donate to your shopping basket. You can donate between 10 and 250 zooPoints, with all donations making a massive difference to the lives of animals in need. Please note, you can only collect zooPoints if you are a registered customer and zooPoints can only be donated when a purchase is made.
Our September Charity
We are a wee, independent charity run by a small group of dedicated volunteers, and we provide tailored, compassionate hospice care to abandoned and/or unwanted terminally ill companion and farmed animals, and a safe, loving home and sanctuary for companion and farmed animals. Currently, 28 dogs, 4 cats, 9 pigs, 27 sheep, a goose, a duck, a quail lad, 11 hens, and around 175 cockerels call oor wee bit of the world 'home'.
Many of the animals in our care have, sadly, suffered from abuse, neglect and trauma throughout their lives, but once they come here, they can let all of that go, knowing they are finally loved and safe. They can relax, and let their inner puppies (or chicks!) come out to play. The dogs enjoy days out in the car and their world-famous 'Car Picnics', while the cockerel lads are busy telling the world how cock-a-doodle gorgeous they are!
