One of our 1 year olds suddenly developed diarrhoea, and a temperature. After being worked, given antibiotics, she still had diarrhea, After 3 weeks, we decided to see if this food would help. 24 hours after her first bowlful, no diarrhea. Back to a healthy cat.

For poorly cats and kittens
Dietary intolerance to the many weird ingredients in modern cat food leads to loose motions, bloody diarrea h and this food can be given to even very small kittens. Quite simply a lot of cat food is too fatty and causes sickness in an already poorly cat

Excellent thank you
My 10yr old male cat has a sensitive tummy, prone to the runs. I was using an expensive well known brand but he still had runny or squidgy stools. I tried smilla as a test, and I'm so pleased! My cat now has firm regular daily stools, he's much happier, he enjoys his meals and has more energy. I'd even say his fur is starting to look less dull after 4 weeks. Im buying again! If the boss is happy then I'm happy :)

Great value and my cat loves it
My 18 years old cat with hyperthyroidism and sensitive stomach had stomach flare ups until I came across Royal Canin sensitive. Since trying it for the 1st time, this was the only food that my cat would eat. Due to the cost I decided to try Smilla. I tried to slowly introduce the new food, but she would lick all Smilla and leave Royal! Her tummy has fully accepted the new food and there was no issues. After 4 weeks she is still super excited about eating Smilla and doesn't want to eat Royal

Good value
Pros:
Cat with suspected protein allergy tolerates it well, no ill effects
Cheaper than Royal Canin Sensitivity Control
100g rather than normal 85g pouch
Keeps my cat satiated for longer
Cons:
The consistency is like a hard block once removed from the pouch which means I need to cut it up for my cat to be able to eat it
Flavour isn't as good as Royal Canin as my cat hesitates to eat it at first, doesn't dive in as usual

Search for cheaper 'sensitive' food that is tolerated.
Have given this food to my cat gradually by alternating with Royal Canin sensitive which is now to dear for me. This food is liked by my cat an has no ill effects. Am going over completely to this one. Have looked at the dry ones' ingredients and they are not single protein so I cannot get that one.

My cat loves it!
My rather picky cat loves Smilla Sensitive, so if you have a cat with skin allergies I'd really recommend it. I was using a Royal Canin food till now for him, but the Smilla is around half the price and, I find, just as effective.

Amazing
I bought a trial pk for my overgroomer, his skin was itchy and sore and he was always being sick. I cannot praise this food enough, opening the first tray he couldn’t wait to eat it and hasn’t stopped since ! It’s already made a difference with his skin and sickness, I’ve had to buy a special plate with a raised maze pattern as he was eating it so quickly! Wish they had another flavour in the sensitive pate though as I’m worried he will get bored eating the same flavour all the time

Good food for sensitive cat
My cat was recommended to go onto a sensitive diet due to sickness and diarrhoea.
I chose this brand due to its higher meat content than the others I had found.
My cat seems to enjoy this and no problem with her tummy so far.

Not suitable for my sensitive cat
My cat has difficulty digesting some meats due to the hard lumps and grizzly bits in it. I bought this hoping that it would make a difference One day feeding my cat and he threw up due to the lumps in it. Total waste of money, very disappointed.

God send....
Have a cat who is pushing 20 years old and who has suffered from keep food down and passing it through other end for quite a while. The switch to these specialist foods have had an amazing impact on his health and his bowel movements. The change was immediate too.

Smash hit
Our fussy little princess has a potential food intolerance so we’ve been trying all reasonably priced ‘sensitive’ alternatives. Some have been immediately rebuffed. This one lead to the pattern being removed from the bowl. A real winner.
