Biokat's Diamond Care Classic cat litter is a clumping cat litter made from natural clay that uses activated carbon and natural coconut shell fibres for highly effective odour binding. Activated carbon is a highly porous carbon compound with a huge inner surface area: one gram of activated carbon would measure around 1,000 sq/m if unfolded. This, in combination with physical forces, keeps odours effectively locked up. The natural raw materials come from coconut shells, which are a renewable source of natural fibres. The fine grains of cat litter are low-dust and form flat clumps when they come into contact with moisture, in which odours and urine are locked away. Biokat’s Diamond Care Classic only uses 100% natural clay with a reliable absorbency.The product contains Aloe vera to care for your cat’s sensitive paws. The ripe aloe vera leaves are sent to the manufacturer as soon as they are harvested, and are then washed and peeled by hand. Once this is done, they are made into aloe vera gel, aloe vera essence and powder concentrate. Aloe vera essence is sprayed on the litter to provide extra-special care for your cat’s sensitive paws. As with all Biokat products, this litter is made in Germany.

Last few bags are near useless. Extremely dusty and clumping is a hit and miss. Just cancelled my repeat order.

used to be great....
used this for several years and no issues. recently it had become horrible. the clumps set like cement and are hard to dig out. it is very dusty now as well. no longer going to buy it.

Very good litter with no smell, my cat does like it but it make my whole family had keratitis. Too much dust.

Perfect for raw fed cats
Very good clumping litter. Our cats are raw fed, so poo is solid and have no bad smell, but do a lot of 'pipi' what becomes pretty fast solid nice bricks out of this litter. For our meows it's perfect litter for a good price.

We have an automatic cat litter box and this litter is perfect, I've tried many others and ended up with the perfect one for my needs

Never ever again
Normally using other brand, but was out of stock.
Decided to try this one and bought 4 bags. Clumps spread out instead of stay solid. Very very strong smell of ammonia, burning your eyes. Terrible, never again!

Best for my cat (and me)
I find this the best litter for me to manage. It clumps well and waste matter can be sieved through a scoop and removed so that the bulk of the remaining litter can be refreshed giving it a longer tray life.

The cat likes it but I don't
My cat prefers this to the other litter in his other tray, which is why I gave it two stars rather than one. But I really don't like it. The clumps are very claggy and hard to scoop; sometimes I worry the scoop is about to break wtih the force required to dig the clumps out. And there is no masking of odours at all, the box stinks of ammonia even with daily scooping, and it makes the flat smell. Sorry cat, I'm going back to my preferred litter.

Claggy and smelly
Two stars because my cat seems to prefer it to other litters, but if it was just my choice, one star. The clumps are claggy and spread out rather than being compact, so they're very difficult to scoop out, and it does a really bad job of absorbing odours. I wouldn't buy it again.

Really good litter
With two indoor cats, we've tried a range of different cat litters. This is the best so far. Clumps well, no synthetic smell (our cats don't like the perfumed ones), and best of all, it genuinely reduces smells from the tray - more than any others we've tried. Our cats like it too - for a while they had the choice of two types of litter and they definitely favoured this one. We'll keep using it!

Stinks
Clumps only for the first few days and then starts breaking up even with regular cleaning. The room stinks of ammonia and I feel the need to change the full tray almost every week. Wasteful.

Best litter ever
We have tried several litters (non-clumping and several clumping ones). This is the first brand where the clumps hold together and don't fall apart when scooped. Plus there is zero odour. It works 100%.

Fab!
Brilliant litter. I have a 3 cat household and this has minimal tracking and good odour control. Cats all like it too 👍

Good litter
I change to this litter because the previous brand is no long available at zooplus. It doesn’t track much, clumping very well. odour control is amazing too. I have two big Maine Coon adult and they share one litter tray. I empty the tray every two weeks. Even at the end, the litter can hold smell very well.

Happy cats & Happy mum
My cats prefer this to any others I've tried. Doesn't 'travel' as far either and one of my boys likes to really dig a lot. No smell and clamps perfectly. Definitely recommend.

The only litter my girl will use
I almost didn't want to write this to ensure stock :D But, I've struggled for a while with my girl actually using the litter box, and she'd frequently go in the bathtub, much to my dismay - my usual litter wasn't in stock so I thought I'd try this and OH MY GOD I'M GLAD I DID! The carbon minimises any smell, and it forms perfect clumps, even when the litter is about a week old, and best of all, my girl uses it consistently!!!!

Best litter so far
After trying a few litters a friend recommended Biokat's Diamond care. Having now used it for 6 months, I will not be looking to change. It clumps perfectly, there is absolutely no smell from the litter tray and kitty loves to have a dig in it even just for fun as it doesn't hurt his paws.
