The clever construction of the roof of the Big Box Cat Litter Tray offers a large top entry behind a 13cm-high back wall. This ensures that your cat has to walk over the surface containing small holes whenever it leaves the litter tray, ensuring that any litter attached to its paws fall back in rather than entering your home. The Big Box Cat Litter Tray also has practical clips that allow you to remove the roof of the litter box for cleaning. Great litter tray
This is absolutely brilliant. We bought it because one of our cats was managing to wee through the join of the base and lid on our old one - this has completely solved that problem. We introduced it over the course of a week. First we mixed in some litter from the old tray and left the lid off with a step stool next to the tray so they could investigate without having to jump in. After a few days we put the lid on and a few days after that we removed the step stool.

No litter tracking
Very pleased with this litter tray, previously one of my cats was peeing outside edge of tray and then throwing litter everywhere,no litter comes out of this box and also less odour. It is quite big but overall it is great, quite sturdy and good value for money

Great
Kitten was used to a tall hop in litter box so we brought this and another brand for home. No problems using it and very little litter on the floor.

Game Changer, Well worth trying
Tried loads of standard trays & box’s with cat flap style doors. 2 Tuxedo Boys who don’t like door entry and on standard design trays either kick the litter everywhere or simply stick their bum outside the tray and end up weeing on the floor. This style has proved terrific, no more litter on the floor, no more weeing on the floor! Personally, I think it’s strong, well made & I have no problem with lid fitting. I use Tigerino Premium Clumping Clay litter (also 5 Star) and keep it deep. No leaks.

Brill design
We will buy more of these. Raised edge encourages cats to jump onto slotted holes when exiting box, so litter on paws tends to fall back into box. Entrance hole is quite large, for adults and kittens both. Easy to clean. (Be aware of placement: our kittens use the slotted side to jump up onto the windowsill.)

My cats refuse to use it
Both of my Birman cats refused point plank to use this tray. My larger cat has a habit of weeing out of the front of the tray so I thought this was ideal.
I have tried taking the lid off to no avail and putting some wee clumps in it.
In general, it might be fine if your cat uses it but neither of mine wan5 anything to do with it despite loving any. Boxes of any shape or construction.

Transformed our home
We had been using a standard, open cat littler tray for our two cats. It was messy, smelly and one cat had taken to weeing over the side, even in a fresh tray. Very annoying.
I'd never come across this box kind before, but now we have a much tidier house, happier cats, no cat wee smell (how is this possible?!) and somehow the litter seems to last longer. There's loads of room for them to scrabble about inside the box and it's super easy to clean out and make a fresh tray.

Love it
Our two cats took a little while to get used to it but it is great now. We had a regular one before and there was little everywhere around it but this one keeps the little in way better and the cats feel safer inside, so when we are around they don’t get startled as often.

Leaks
If you have a standing up wee cat it leaks out of top edge. Other makes don't.

Great litter tray shame out the fitting.
This product is superb the only fault we have is that if knocked when moving it around it tends to separate from the base very easily and drops to the floor. If this slight problem was fixed this box would be the best ever as the tracking is the lowest we have ever had.

Will buy another when the time comes for replacing
Very good sized box for my Ragdoll. He took to it very easily after allowing him to investigate first with the lid off. He uses it with no problems or mess. Easy to clean as well

Better than a basic litter tray but...
My cats didn't seem to have any difficulty adapting to the idea of hopping into the tray from the top. The problems arose when it came to getting out. The lid doesn't fit tightly enough, so it rattles when the cat puts pressure on it. My cats found that very disturbing and would try to get out of the tray without touching it. I had to use pieces of paper as wedges to stop the rattling but one of my cats decided she just didn't trust it and started urinating around the house.

Wow brilliant
Love this litter tray , did worry that it would be difficult for my large BSH and large mainecoon, but both manage it easily and chose it over the open front litter tray, hence I’ve just ordered a second one .. fab in that it’s stable even when my clumsy lump of a BSH lands full pelt on top of it in his haste to use his tray lol. Love that I no longer get cat litter trod across the bathroom floor , have been really surprised absolutely nothing to sweep up round this litter tray. A+++++++.

Big Box Cat Litter Tray is TOO SMALL
This Litter tray is far too small for my adult male maine coon. He climbs in and has no room to maneuver so does his business under the entrance hole. He is unable to move around to bury his doings. In his efforts to get back out he stands in his waste and brings it out on his feet. Ok, so there is very little kitty litter coming out with him but unfortunately there is quite a bit of poo. Now looking for a much bigger alternative.

Brilliant if your cat spreads litter in a low level tray
It’s massive! Perfect for my cat who spreads litter and wees over the side of his standard litter tray. This has just made my life so much easier as I was having to hoover and clean the floor several times a day. A little bit of litter comes out when he jumps out but I’ve just used a mat next to it and he no longer tracks it round the house. Really happy and brilliant price.

Saves a huge mess
Our cat is very vigorous in burying her business, so much so that most of the litter in a normal tray ended up all over the floor. This took her a couple of days to get used to but she's really taken to it. The design is excellent and instead of sweeping the floor 3 times a day, it only needs doing a couple of times a week now.

dont bother
poor shape very thin didnt matter which way I tried to fit, there was plastic in the way, they tore it in minutes waste of money
box is brill no more litter anywhere it shouldnt be, just as easy to tip out and wash
