The Funny Butterfly Cat Toy flutters and flies around unpredictably, driving your cat wild and encouraging active play. With just a touch of the button and a gentle push, the battery-operated butterfly starts to rotate. It is attached to the end of a thin wire that vibrates slightly, causing the butterfly to move in a life-like way.
The natural movement of the butterfly will stimulate your cat's hunting instincts and encourage it to give chase. The toy's green base is broad and heavy enough to stop it from sliding around, even during lively attacks on the flying prey.
The motion mechanism stops automatically after around 3 minutes and can be re-activated at any time by pressing the button. The toy comes with spare butterflies and you can also purchase additional butterflies. Your cat will have plenty of fun and games with this great toy.

Does not work !!
I ordered this recently and from the outset it does not work !
There are no insructions about assembling it , only a health and safety leaflet.
Despite trying multiple timed with the batteries it refused to work .
Very disappointed !

Great toy
Got this as a present for my cat niece & she absolutely loves it, has not stopped playing with it so need to stock up on butterflies 😻

Both cats loved this .......TOGETHER
First time my cats have enjoyed something together. So pleased I bought extra butterflies but think I may need more batteries. They love it so much. It's like a swing all for cats watching them. Bought one for my daughter's cat too and just know he'll love it also.

This actually tires kittens out
How much energy do they expend chasing this butterfly. Excellent toy.
Although it's not played with daily, the first butterfly has lasted a couple of months, whereas I thought it would be "killed" within the hour.
Only criticism, is having the on/off button on the top, as it gets stepped on a lot.

my cat loves this more than he loves me
this very quickly became my cat's favourite toy, he spends hours batting it and comes running whenever I turn it on

Excellent
My Maine coon kitten (7months) adores this and asks for it to be switched on. She plays with it for ages and the batteries are still going strong after a week, as is the first butterfly (though I’m pleased there are 3 more in the box)

My Cat Loves It
From the very first moment I turned this on, my cat loved it.
When it's off and she wants to play again, she stands over it and won't move until the butterfly is fluttering past. Unfortunately, she's very good at catching it and so I'm already having to buy spare butterflies to replace the 'dead' ones.

Really Good, but...
I found it difficult to rate because my cats love it! The issue issue is the butterflies don't last 10mins with my two. The first butterfly was shredded pretty quickly so I used another one and this lost it's bounce because they had squished the wire with their capture technique. This hasn't stopped me buying replacement butterflies but this will be saved as a weekly treat.

Temporary fun
Cat adores it, and he will happily play with it for ages, however, it seems to suddenly stop working after 4-5 weeks. I've had 2 and seen the same thing both times, a shame.

Kittens love it!
My 2 six month old kittens love this toy.
I was worried that the butterfly might be too fast for them but they love it.
They spend ages chasing the butterfly around, trapping it and letting it fly around again. Also comes with extra butterflies which is really useful.

No batteries needed!
My new cat who we believe is a bengal cross so needs tons of exercise and stimulation was initially frightened of this toy in operation and then found it boring as it whirled predictably past her nose. But with the batteries not in operation - you could use spent batteries to add weight - she plays with it endlessly as it’s movement is unpredictable like a real butterfly. It is very strong and the butterfly lasted for two weeks before she shredded it which I thought was good considering.

Keeps cats entertained
Easy to set up. Kept both cats entertained for hours . Good exercise for them. Butterflies are good quality and you get 4 in a box. Butterflies spin in circles very fast . Best money I've spent on a toy.

Kitten likes it but I difficult to replace butterfly
Kitten destroyed first butterfly. Manufacturer supplied extra butterflies in the box but I can't work out how to remove the first butterfly.

Fussy cats
I have 2 Mainecoon males, and they love the blue butterfly, they love the noise and the speed but only love the blue one and refuse to play with the yellow one in the last 3 days they have killed 4 butterflies. They need to be more durable and have more blue butterflies as yellow can be hard for cats to see. Anything on the red spectacles makes it hard and this yellow definitely is red based so please bare this in mind when making cat toys and I hope you guys find an upgraded version in future.
