The beaphar Toothbrush is a convenient and highly functional two-sided toothbrush for dogs and cats. It makes an ideal accessory for any pet owner, as dental care is just as important for dogs and cats as it is for humans. Dogs' and cats' teeth and gums are under daily strain and should receive targeted care several times a week. Regular brushing of teeth will prevent the build-up of tartar and the resulting dental problems, including bad breath.
In nature, feeding on raw meat provides dogs and cats with the necessary abrasion to prevent plaque. At home, we are responsible for providing this care for our pets! If plaque is not removed it can turn into tartar, which can lead to painful inflammation of the gums and eventually to loss of teeth.
The beaphar Toothbrush is comfortable to hold and ensures safe brushing with its gummed surface and small knobs. The dog and cat toothbrush features a different sized brush head on each end, making it suitable for all sizes of dog and cat. The bristles are wave-shaped to ensure optimal brushing effect and let you reach all parts of your pet's mouth. Their soft texture ensures gums are protected whilst teeth and mouth are cleaned.

Better than expected
Bought this with the toothpaste for a fussy and very chewy Beagle and he loves both. Finally! Toothbrushes are normally destroyed in a couple of uses whereas this has a few dents/pulled bristles but it's still functional and he loves having his teeth brushed.

Bad quality
The bristles started falling out after 10 light uses. It's cheap and horrible like a poundshop toothbrush. You can't put the brush down anywhere whilst re-positioning your dog as it just rolls everywhere. The angles of the handle and head are all wrong (what weird dog was this designed for!?!?). AVOID.

One colour only?
What a pity that these are not made in a variety of colours for people with more than one dog. I don't share my toothbrush and there's no reason why George and Elsie should either - woof justice!
