Excellent Kitten Food
We have a litter of 4 kittens (totally unplanned for) and they all love this food and so does their mother cat. They are fed Applaws along with Thrive, as Applaws is only a complimentary food. It's such a pity it is not a complete food, hence a star removed.

Good for sensitive tummies
We started off with the kitten mixed pack as my 6 month old has developed sensitives to felix. Won't touch the sardines but loves the chicken and tuna - glad they sell them as bigger packs and not just in a mixed pack.

CHICKEN HAS CHANGED !!
My kitten loves all flavours of the wet food variety. Surprisingly sardines is her favourite, she will finish that in one go. I saw Applaws had changed their packaging but it seems the contents have been changed too ? For the first time this morning she refused to eat the chicken flavour, baring in mind i fed her chicken (old package) two days ago and she was fine with it. Tried to give her this new pack and did not touch.
What am I supposed to do with all the chicken cans ?? :(

Good stuff
You can clearly see the food is good quality. There's tons of meat, little bones, all cooked and sterilised.
At first my kitten wouldn't eat it - in fact she won't eat any pates, which I didn't realise this was - this is not clearly stated on the product page.
I've since discovered she will eat these pates as long as I mix it with some other solid wet food. A teaspoon of the pate + teaspoon of solid, then mix it. Might help other people having the same problem

They love the fish
When we got our kittens, the breeder was feeding them the Animonda Carney. However they weren't fussed on it so we decided to change them over to this. They absolutely love the tuna and the sardine ones but won't even touch the chicken. It's great that it's all natural but maybe need to do a sardine pack as well as a tuna.

They love the tuna!
I have two BSH sisters of 6 months old, one loves the tuna and the other loves both the tuna and the chicken, sadly the sardines gets ignored so I no longer order those. Have to give my tins away. Great food for growing kitties!

great complimentary food but owners be aware...
Applaws is a fantastic complimentary cat food that my kitten and adult cat both love, but I can't give it five stars due to the failure to clarify that this is not a complete food and must only be supplementary. It concerns me that some might not be aware of this and feed their cats Applaws exclusively. As it doesn't contain taurine this could put them at risk of severe health problems and I feel that this information should be provided to ensure owners can give their pets a balanced diet.

Great when trying to hide medication!
One of my kittens was ill recently and had to be given antibiotics which he would not take voluntary. We bought a few tins of this a recommended by our vet to help mask the pills and he was so busy wolfing it down he didn't notice the medication at all. Absolutely loves it. One stay knocked off because of price - we're now having to transition him back to something more affordable for the long term!

Great
Our two kittens had this for their first month here and it was gone as it hit their bowls, they have a noticeable improvement in their coats and is great alongside the dried food. It is more a pate type consistency and they have seemed to outgrow it as they began teething preferring the adult chicken version.

Real chicken shreds
My kitten loves the shredded chicken fillet, he gets it mixed with kibble. Trots then gallops to his bowl when he sees the can. Very good for a supplementary food. However, there are better value wet food on Zooplus like Cosma (shreds), Feline Porta 21 (shreds) and Alma Nature (pate).

Brilliant
My 12 week old kitten who is usually a bit cautious of new foods went nuts for this! Ate half a tin straight away. If only it came in bigger tins!

Natural But Not Complete
Yes, this is a natural product with natural ingredients but unfortunately it is not a complete meal. But my cats enjoy these tins alot and because they are not complete meals I just give them as treats.
