Sanicat Strong Clumps Clumping Cat Litter

Made of bentonite, look it up.

A total disappointment. I've been buying this litter for years and it used to be perfect. It clumped really well and didn't release any dust. Now the urine clumps fall apart as soon as you scoop them and it creates a lot of dust. Plus, the smell gets worse because it doesn't clump properly. I'm really disappointed with this product. I see this is happening with all the litters on the market, so I guess I'll have to switch to pellets...

Worse than any supermarket own-brand litter, it doesn’t clump at all and starts to smell absolutely awful straight away.

We’re really disappointed with this litter – it doesn’t clump, it just turns into mud. It smells bad and stinks. The cats won’t go near it at all. One big disaster. Never again.

Paid too much and it doesn’t do what it promises. I have an automatic litter box and ever since I started using this litter, there’s a smell of pee in the room and it doesn’t clump well, so I end up having to clean up all the tiny lumps by hand. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Up until my orders in October 2025, SANICAT STRONG CLUMPS litter was fantastic—excellent clumping ability, 4 out of 4 stars, and absolutely no dust, also 4 out of 4 stars. But from the next order onwards, the same litter barely clumped at all, just 1 out of 4 stars, and produced loads of dust, 0 out of 4 stars. Honestly, it was just like an absorbent litter... and one of the worst quality ones at that. As of today, I see they've changed the box design, but the litter is still really poor quality. They must be mixing Wyoming sodium bentonite with Turkish sodium bentonite.

This is the worst cat litter I’ve ever seen. They make it such a dark colour that you can’t even see where your cat has done its business, which makes it really hard to clean. I compared two types and I’m not even going to use one of them—what a load of rubbish.
