Absolutely adore these, they make lovely pillows in catbeds..definitely a favourite in our house with all our cats.

I loved the aesthetic of this, but the smell was overwhelmingly bad. We had to throw it away after 5 minutes as the whole room smelled of rotting cheese

I have a blind cat, two years old. She adores this toy, which I have christened Mr Hootsworth (from Brooklyn 99). It absolutely reeks but that's why she likes it, so fine by us! Great for her enrichment.

I've bought various catnip filled toys for my cat Nicholas over the years and this is his favourite. He loves nothing better than to wander over to it, give it a stomp, flop over, bite it and then bunny kick it!

Recently bought this toy for my cat. Upon opening the sealed package, I was greeted with the most horrendous smell of mould, so much so that I felt sick even an hour later. The smell masked the entire room too and had to air it out - I decided to wash it in on hot to try to eliminate the smell but it's still there, only now smelling of detergent making my cat not want to play with it. This is really unfortunate and I've had to throw it out, so buyers be warned and hopefully mine was a one off.

Both cats went crazy for it :) I use it when Im doing an iv drip - it calms my cat a bit.

My cats love this toy. Would definitely recommend it. The only downside is it stinks, not in a good way. Smells like smelly feet.

Unfortunately this toy went in the bin after 5 mins! It smells like wet dog. My kitten hated the smell and my hands stank after touching it.

My 3 Ragdoll’s go mad for any Valerian toys they live this owl even my fox red Labrador dog tries to pinch it. It does really stink but I’m not bothered my cats love it and if their happy so am I

my cats were infused by this toy sadly after only 1 play we had to remove the toys as the seams split and the white padding came out such a shame as its cute and they did love it, just wasnt enough material for a strong cat proof seam

I have 8 cats, they just love this little fella, have re-ordered time and again and donated the older ones when the scent has been reduced to a local cat charity (cos if you wash them the scent will vanish) its been a huge success all round

I wonder if perhaps I have received a different size to others as mine is quite a substantial sized toy? Its super cute and my old girl cat has gone potty over it. Currently this is her bestest thing! It is a bit whiffy when you first get it but the smell fades after a while. I find a good scrunch of it to get it "activated" again before giving it to the cat is good.

This smells very strong at the moment, but other reviewers have said the smell goes for us humans after a few days. One of my cat loves this. He is a big boy, tipping the scales at 27 lb, but he's tall too, and this is a good size for him. He just goes crazy on it. My other two cats prefer catnip as they sniff this suspiciously, not sure what to make of it at the moment. It is really cute though.
