I have purchased this set a few times before and it was great. The last two I have purchased have grown really sparsely and took a long time. Last week, at the same time, I planted half the seeds as instructed and half in a plant pot in pet safe indoor plant compost. The seeds in the compost have grown thick, tall and quickly, whereas in the vermiculite I have about four thin, short shoots.

I’ve purchased seeds directly from Catit before and it worked perfectly, my cats loved it. When I bought this kit, I followed the instructions correctly but seeds took forever to start rooting. After several weeks only 3-4 plants sprouted, and when they did they looked quite pale and weak. I thought I had done something wrong with the first packet but this happened with all of them so there must be something wrong with these seeds or the pellets. :(

Nice quantity, and my cat love it

Keep buying this for a while and it always works out. I have 2 sets, planting them 3 weeks apart to make sure my boy always have his favourite when he needs it. Grows to a good size, just keep water it every other day.

I’ve had great success with this product and the cat just loves the grass. Sadly this time, the first pack didn’t germinate at all and after a week smelled foul and hit the bin. The second pack has done only a little better with perhaps 5% germinating. Not holding any hopes for the third packet and the cat is hating not having grass while I keep trying to grow it. Doubt I’ll be buying this again.

This refill pack is great to keep in the cupboard and contains the same high quality grass and substrate that comes with the main planter.

Perfect refill for any container. Lots of seeds and I'm sure my cat will love the grass as she usually does.
