Not bad for the average size cat..
Not bad for the price l but the natural paradise ones are a lot bigger and better made (solid wood). The entrance holes are small if you've larger cats

Great barrel and realistically sized
I ordered this as I have 2 large cats (5 & 5.5kg) I was getting very frustrated at the tiny size if most scratch posts as the boys can’t reach up and stretch. Needless to say the sofa took a battering. They were a little nervous of this at first as it is much bigger than any cat furniture we have had before but they have been in it to play & the bed in top is very comfy. My only criticism would be that you can see the mdf on the top a bit even with the bed in place.

Great for snoozing
Bought this as a scratching post but my two never use if for scratching but love to sit on the top and look out of the window. They don't seem too keen on the lower levels. Bought 6 months ago and looks as good as new, but that's because they don't tend to scratch it I guess.Quite large so be sure you have the space for it!

Scratching barrel aka Kitten Towers
Our two 8 month old cats love their scratching barrel. More for sleeping in/on than scratching but they now spend most evenings up their watching what we're up to. V. stable and less obtrusive than some cat trees.
Only down is that the dangling fluffy balls in the windows haven't lasted long. One was pulled off completely the other had the furry cover pulled off exposing a bell hanging on elastic so cut it off as could have been swallowing. Third (bottom window) is still attached for now!

My Maine Coons Love This
Very pleased with our scratching barrel - and yes, it is huge! My 4 ex-large Maine Coons all pile on and into it - it's one of their favourite places to be. Only criticism is that the plush bedding/lining is not removable for washing. Nevertheless, will definitely consider buying another when the time comes.
