Value for money is absolutely not good.
Unfortunately, I am very dissatisfied with the basket. The paint had already chipped off in several places before the first use, and then there were the faux leather straps, which completely tore at the holes and at every seam puncture after a short test ride with getting in and out. The "guaranteed fit" for attaching it to the bike unfortunately did not apply to my Amsterdam bike; several washers were needed. The "cover" of the basket was nothing more than a thin oilcloth. The bottom of the basket is not reinforced but consists of wickerwork, and for this, the "cover" is definitely not sufficient, as some of the stick ends also protrude sharply in places.
For longer distances, it is not usable for me due to the lack of stability, as the sturdiness of both the basket and the mount leaves much to be desired, even though my dog only weighs 8 kg. Better to spend a bit more and get the corresponding quality.

Unfortunately, not so great.
The fastening for the lid/basket tore immediately. We just wanted to close the strap, and it was already broken. Attaching the fastening to the frame was unfortunately very tedious. On top of that, it only fit one bike, which is not very practical. Additionally, I don’t have much confidence in the overall stability or long-term durability. We’re sending it back because if you plan to cycle 1,000 kilometres, the dog basket shouldn’t fall apart, and unfortunately, I have that concern with the wicker material. The screws won’t hold in the basket under heavier loads – and by that, I mean rough paths and lots of jolting – so I would definitely have had to reinforce it with plates. Furthermore, we would have had to cut the grille for our dog, because what dog wants to sit hunched over the whole time? And it’s "just" a terrier mix. But even he hits his head on the top. Such a shame, really disappointing...

Doesn't fit my bike
While the basket is solidly made and good quality, it did not fit on to my mountain bike. This should have been made explicitly clear on this site, but it was not. I had to exchange my mountain bike in a 2nd hand shop for a much older shopping bike just to get it on. The workers in the bike shop struggled for over an hour to figure out how to get it on and had to do all sorts of fiddling with changing where the break leads went and all sorts. There is no way atall i could have fitted this myself. Not atall impressed as I have had to give up my beloved mountain bike. But it is on now and seems ok, but overall simply not good enough.

You can't use it.
I ordered the small basket for a Welsh Terrier (approx. 11 kg) based on recommendations here. After unpacking it for the first time, it was immediately clear to me that it was too small. After a hassle-free exchange, I wanted to mount the larger one on the bike (luggage rack). It doesn’t fit at all. The support rods are too short. As a result, the basket ends up under the saddle, and you can’t attach the protective grid at all. I don’t understand the positive reviews here and will be returning the basket.

It don't fit!
We have 4 bikes and the handle bar fittings don't fit any bike! We have a rear pannier fitted and have mounted it on there (not using the fittings provided). The instructions are non-existent. Good quality but will NOT fit typical UK Mountain bikes.

Wobbly and Unstable
We bought the larger basket for our dachshund (approx. 10 kg) and assembled it with great effort. During the very first test sitting, it became clear that this wasn’t going to work. The basket wobbled and tipped forward because the stabilisation underneath the basket didn’t even extend halfway across it. On top of that, the bike could no longer be steered properly as the basket was constantly in the way.
Such a shame, we had higher expectations.

Returned
I mounted the basket and tried it out, but ended up taking it off again straight away and returning it. Since the support (underneath) stops roughly in the middle of the basket, it creates a weak point at that spot. When testing it with my 12-kilo dog, the front part dangerously bent forward, and we hadn’t even gone over any uneven surfaces yet. The basket is actually very sturdily designed, but the metal frame underneath should support at least three-quarters of the basket’s length. At least the assembly and disassembly were very quick and easy. Such a shame, as I’m now back to square one looking for a good solution...
