The vet recommended Burns as a hypoallergenic alternative after the manufacturer of the food my active spaniel was on previously changed the formulation of his old food. Burns is VERY low fat. Although I fed him much more than the package (and a Burns rep) recommended he was getting so hungry between meals he lost a lot of weight and was vomiting bile. We thought it was a medical issue, but after changing to a Hills food, no more vomiting, his weight increased, and his coat is gleaming.

My 3 greyhounds have been on this food for quite a while and they like it. Everything has improved from their poo to their coats. It is quite expensive, but at the same time we don't have to visit the vets all the time. Very pleased with it.

Very happy with this great quality food. Our 8 year Old English Sheepdog used to suffer from hotspots, and this diet has close to, eliminated the problem!

We purchased this burns food for our English bully and Frenchie as reviews read as it was brilliant food. Firstly we've had nothing but trouble with Frenchie chewing her feet inching and scratching took her off it within days all this is slowly stopping. Our English bully is itching licking her feet drinking constantly and peeing constantly which upsets her bladder. Leave this product well alone burns is not the product it once was unhappy dogs and waste of money big 12k bag going in the bin.

I've always given my pug Burns, but reconsidering changing product as this dry food is so difficult for my pug to eat! and thats saying something, as he can get through anything! Unfortunately this food is so rock-hard solid, I struggle to even smash it up with the end of my wooden rolling pin!

This is the only kibble my dog will eat after trying lots of different ones. She has a sensitive stomach and it really seems to help with this

My German Shepherd has an extremely sensitive tummy.He has beef,chicken ,wheat & gluten allergies. And they are just ones I am aware of ! He gets terrible runs on other food.And bouts of colitis. He also started with anal gland problems a year ago.This food seems to be keeping him on an even keel and he has kept his weight up too.He has firm poops and is very regular.I feed him twice a day,8am and 4pm.He is as regular as clockwork going to the toilet.

Please give this food a go if your dog has any sensitivities. You will be amazed at the results and your dog will thank you for it! My goldendoodle has an extremely sensitive stomach and it is difficult to find food that doesn’t upset his digestion. He had been on this food for 3years and he hasn’t been healthier. Wouldn’t consider feeding him anything else! The bulk pack is amazing value!

Recommend. My two Chocolate Labradors have very sensitive tummy's and I have tried all sorts of diet foods for them, but this is by far the best of all. One of my labs is now 13 years of age (2020) and he still loves it. He still enjoys a long walk with us in the woods. I know this food seems expensive but it is well worth it.

have used this food for several years for my previous elderly cocker spaniel who had tummy issues, with really good results, tummy issues were much less, coat became shiny again, health was much improved. Therefore the 2 spaniels I have now are fed it too. I also take some out as training treats.They both have lovely shiny coats & keep a good healthy weight.

Our 18 month old rescue lab, Poppy, has severe allergies to Chicken and we suspect lamb also. Vet advised a diet of 'novel proteins' and recommended burns sensitive 'pork and potato'. She thrives on this without any flare up of the usual ear (yeast) infections, rash/hives on belly and frenzied knawing at skin and paws. Highly recommended and good value.

We tried all sorts of food and were almost going to give up and accept that our retired greyhound's poos were going to be more like Mr Whippy than the firm poo that is easy to pick up. This was one of the last few on my list and i couldn't believe it when his poos became firm so quickly. This is the food for us! I don't know if he has a sensitive stomach, it was trial & error for us. All I know is, he loves it and I love the outcome!
