Time for a change
Done with Rocco. As others have mentioned, the amount of fat in the tins is growing. I usually order 96-120 x 800g tins at a time and most of them arrive with dents and some even split open. Most would blame the courier, but they're just not packaged well enough at all. Recently some flavours have been really grey and have weird reddish brown clots in them, the beef with chicken has a load of jelly and liquid and the tins aren't even full. All this and prices have doubled in the last few years

So much fat/lard!
There’s increasingly more fat/lard in this food, all through the meat but most especially at the 1/3 bottom of the can. It’s been causing both my dogs to have diarrhoea, which has been distressing for all. What’s going on with quality control?!

Tin lids are awful
For the most the food seems really meaty, sometimes too chunky and some fat at the bottom have to discard.
But the worst ive found is opening the tins. We have the 800g and you pull the ring but it is so flimsy . The lid needs a good pull and most times the ring will pull off, meaning we then have the get the can opener on it. This is annoying and im sure that this can be rectified. Never used to happen. Its like they have changed to cheaper version.

Good
My dogs want to eat only this

Disappointed
Ordered the Beef and Reindeer because our usual Beef was out of stock. An awful lot of jelly and not much meat. Ordering their usual beef which is usually more meat and no jelly, fingers crossed, and Happy Dogs again.

Rocco Classic
The Fat/Lard/Non meat content has noticeably increased, i dont want to feed my dog pure fat if the next batch is the same i will be switching brand of food i buy for my Labrador

Beef with Green Tripe. Almost a soup.
I have now ordered this product on two occasions and on both occasions I have been disappointed to find that a substantial proportion of the contents is "jelly" made of one of the thickener gums such as Carrageenan. In all the other Rocco recipes the 800g cans are packed tight with meat and nothing else but with this one you can hear the contents slopping about in a pool of jelly which liquifies over time. I checked two of the cans and in both, nearly 200g out of an 800 g tin is this slop.

Tin weight
My dog loves this food having gone off the raw diet she was in since I've had her. My comment is that although it says 800g, there is never 800g in the tin usually around 770g or so. How is this allowed?

Was great but now not so good
I have been buying Rocco food for my dogs for about 4 years and have always been very happy with the quality and value, but over the past few months I have noticed that the tins are no longer filled to the top. they are approximately 3/4 full and this is across the flavours. I assume the manufacturer is trying to save having to put their prices up by cutting down on the amount they are filling their tins with. Not impressed I am afraid and will be switching to another brand.

quality of food is not the same as it used to be.TOO FATTY
i have been feeding my now 10 year old gsd this along with wolf of wilderness dry for several years and always found it to be lean and meaty with most of the lard at the very bottom of the tin where it could be easily removed( much like corned beef) sadly now the lard is all through the meat which makes it too fatty. i will not be buying again.

Definitely changed
I’ve been using this food for a while as it sorted out my cockers runny poop, however, the last batch I received is so full of fat it’s ridiculous there are little globules of thick white fat all the way through and a thick layer at the bottom of the tin, not only has this caused my dog to have runny poop again but he’s also put on a lot of weight in a short space of time so I now have to diet him. I won’t be buying this again when it runs out I’m going to look for an alternative

Poor quality!!!!
I do not know what happened but j have bought Rocco for a while now and it always used to be full of meat and not much of anything else. Now however it seems to be a large percentage of jelly and alot of questionable looking pieces of "meat"
Something has clearly changed in the production because this is not a one off. This is the third occasion this has happened. At first I thought It could just be a batch or 2 that are bad but now I know this is not the case.
