Due to their imposing size, special attention should be paid to early and intensive education. Since the Great Dane is particularly susceptible to pressure sores due to its weight, there should always be enough soft lying areas available. The strengthening of the joints, the care of skin and coat as well as the prevention of typical diseases can be further supported with special food.
