Bought a large box of these but kitten won't eat them!

When we got our kittens, the breeder was feeding them the Animonda Carney. However they weren't fussed on it so we decided to change them over to this. They absolutely love the tuna and the sardine ones but won't even touch the chicken. It's great that it's all natural but maybe need to do a sardine pack as well as a tuna.

I bought Applaws Kitten Chicken, thinking that it would be similar in texture and taste to the Applaws Chicken in broth, unfortunately it is not. My kitten refuses point blank to eat it, even my older cats have turned they noses up at it. Now stuck with 23 of 24 little 70g tins, so here’s hoping my dogs accept it.

My girlfriend and I have a moggy and a ragdoll. We didn't want to feed them on any cheap food as it is bad for them. We researched for weeks and found this incredible brand. Our kitty's love this food!! Everytime we even touch the food bowls or open the food chest they come running, even if it's not feeding time. The dry food is the same. They just love it. I highly recommend applaws kitten food for all owners.

Our kitten was on Whiskas when we first got him but he never seemed that interested and would slowly pick at his food. After a couple of weeks we moved him onto Applaws wet and dry, and he now empties his bowl as soon as it's filled. He seems to be much more energetic now and can't wait for meal times. His favourites are the tuna and sardine flavours. Highly recommended.

I have two BSH sisters of 6 months old, one loves the tuna and the other loves both the tuna and the chicken, sadly the sardines gets ignored so I no longer order those. Have to give my tins away. Great food for growing kitties!

Applaws is a fantastic complimentary cat food that my kitten and adult cat both love, but I can't give it five stars due to the failure to clarify that this is not a complete food and must only be supplementary. It concerns me that some might not be aware of this and feed their cats Applaws exclusively. As it doesn't contain taurine this could put them at risk of severe health problems and I feel that this information should be provided to ensure owners can give their pets a balanced diet.

Great, high quality food, and our 2 Maine Coon kittens love it, but I will say that its just a supplement to thier main diet, its gone in 60 seconds! We have been buying the mixed pack , but the Sardine is thier least favourite and is very sticky and cloying, so we are sticking with the Tuna and Chicken from now.

We've bought our kitten a mix of foods to give him some variety, and also because we can't afford to feed him this three or four times a day. That said, he loves this one the most - he can smell you opening the tin from the other side of the house and always purrs when you put it down in front of him. As I say, not cheap, but as a treat it's thoroughly recommended!

I don't know why! he will eat a couple of mouthfuls and thats it. I spent alot of money on this too, by buying 3 whole boxes.

unfortunately my kitten didn't like it. he would eat a couple mouthfuls and leave the rest. one time was sick after eating it. not sure why exactly. she seems to prefer the cheaper supermarket brands :-( will try bozito and see he gets on with that

my ragdoll kitten loves it. its good portion for him at the moment as he is 3 months old. good guality as otherwise Gizmo would not eat it:)

While it might not be the cheapest, my kitten absolutely LOVES the kitten applaws tins! Each serving that I have given has been finished off in no time at all with no waste, as even the bowl gets properly cleaned off by the kitten trying not to miss any of the food! Really like that Zooplus sell the variety packs. Highly recommend!

One of my kittens was ill recently and had to be given antibiotics which he would not take voluntary. We bought a few tins of this a recommended by our vet to help mask the pills and he was so busy wolfing it down he didn't notice the medication at all. Absolutely loves it. One stay knocked off because of price - we're now having to transition him back to something more affordable for the long term!

Our two kittens had this for their first month here and it was gone as it hit their bowls, they have a noticeable improvement in their coats and is great alongside the dried food. It is more a pate type consistency and they have seemed to outgrow it as they began teething preferring the adult chicken version.

Not too sure whether it is the food, but the little one eats everything I offer him - including this food, however, cannot keep it in his stomach so I have stopped feeding it. Tried four times, a shame.

My kitten loves the shredded chicken fillet, he gets it mixed with kibble. Trots then gallops to his bowl when he sees the can. Very good for a supplementary food. However, there are better value wet food on Zooplus like Cosma (shreds), Feline Porta 21 (shreds) and Alma Nature (pate).

I give this food to my kitten in conjunction with the Applaws dry kitten food. She loves the taste and wolfs it down but this is more of a treat as it is not nutritionally complete and will need to be supplemented with another food. It's really handy to ensure your kitten is getting moisture as dry food on it's own is quite bad for them. I give her one tin (70g) split up throughout the day. 3 Stars because my kitten loves it. 2 knocked off due to not mentioning that it is a treat food on the packaging.

My two kittens were introduced to applaws and they adore it. Never seen such quick eating in all my life. One favours the chicken and one favours the tuna, which sadly I can't get on zooplus for the kitten range. Little disappointed it's not a complete food but I supplement with Lilys Kitchen and Porta 21. All in all brilliant quality food for two very happy kittens. Please please get the kitten tuna tins in :)
