irresistible to hedgehogs
I dunno about kittens, but my hogs LOVE this. My pygmy hedgehogs are a fussy bunch and they all like different things, but they all licked the bowl clean when I offered them some of this. I even managed to trick them into eating some veg that I mixed through it. 1st time all the bowls have been empty in the morning :o). V pleased I bought the 24 pack!

Sachets are complementry, small tins and dry is complete
My cat has been very poorly with hyperthyroid and I looked for a better food after this and finding a piece of metal in a sachet of Whiskers food. She has had radioiodine treatment but has positively thrived on both the treatment and the good food. She looks so healthy after 3 weeks of it, her coat is gleaming and put on much needed weight & muscle. At first I only found the pouches but then discovered they were only complimentary food but when I visited pets at home I found senior complete tins and complete dry food. All my cats LOVE this food and I would highly recommend it.

Brilliant
My 12 week old kitten who is usually a bit cautious of new foods went nuts for this! Ate half a tin straight away. If only it came in bigger tins!

Not complete food
Our two ragdolls love this as a treat but after reading a few comments above thought I'd better mention this is not a complete food for cats. For excellent quality wet grain free food for cats check out Grau Grain Free, Bozita or have a look at Lily's Kitchen organic

Not the cheapest but the best
This food looks great and by the way our 4 British Shorthairs eat it, it tastes as good as it looks. We only feed cour cats the best and so it must be good.

Natural But Not Complete
Yes, this is a natural product with natural ingredients but unfortunately it is not a complete meal. But my cats enjoy these tins alot and because they are not complete meals I just give them as treats.

clean plate every time!
My 9 months old russian blue cats love this food. Chicken breast applaws is the only wet food they'd eat - and I did try a few major brands and kitten range applaws also. They generally have a sensitive tummy but having them on applaws seem to have fixed the problem - they feel much better now and purr every time I open the tin, they simply can't get enough of applaws!

I've tried everything, Applause for Applaws!
2 of my cats have sensitive digestion. One is frequently sick and the other always has diarroah.
My vet recommended switching from Felix to a premium / organic brand. Since trying this, both their conditions are much improved and both cats adore it. My 3rd fussy tabby cat who previously hated wet food and would only eat dried, also loves it.
I'm disappointed to read the two reviews which say it isn't a complete food, but they fail to detail what vitamins it misses so perhaps an update would be more informative to anyone concerned by those reviews.
I tend to try a range or organic foods for my cats to give them a broader range diet anyway as us humans don't like to eat the same thing day in day out so why do we assume they do? And for me, the proof this is a good food is in the improved health of 2 of my cats. If they're happy, I'm happy.

not a complete food :(
it sounds like a great cat food, but it's not a complete food, so why buy this if you have to add to it May as well buy something that has all the ingredients cats need. Zooplus, please highlight the fact that it is a complimentary food!

Not a complete cat food!
I agree this does seem to be a great cat food with a high protein content and my diabetic cat loves it, however I called the uk supplier and asked if it was a complete food. The answer was no!! They recommend you add a vitamin supplement to the food. The dried food is a complete diet but the wet food isn't.

Ms
This is ideal for the owner who has the picky cat amongst us. My Siamese had to change his diet from dry food to wet last year. We tried him on many different types, and finally found Applaws.
The succulent pieces of meat or fish within the tin are readily eaten and the dish licked clean. The ammount in each tin is adequate for one meal per cat too. As unlike other cat food the lack of water in the tin is a pleasant surprise.
The tins themselves are very easy to open as they have their own ring pull, so there is no need to look for a tin opener.
All in all a very pleasing experience for both owner and cat!

Delicious!!
That's my cats opinion! They go crazy for this. Only tried the plain chicken so far as one of my cats has a dodgy tummy but they go wild when I open the tin and lick the plate clean. At last a good wholesome cat food that they love. Not a complete food so used as a treat only but I recommend it highly!

They love it
Our two kittens love the fish and chicken variety packs. Even when they have plenty of dry food they wake us up in the morning to get their can for breakfast.

fantastic!
my cat just loves applaws. its gone in no time and the dish is licked clean. she meows as soon as she knows shes getting a tin. this is however a supplement food and not to be used as a replacement for food with vitamins and minerals in it. i tend to give my cat 2 pouches a day and if shes finished them she gets a tin of applaws at bed time! great food though.

The best!
My cat absolutely adores his applaws food, I have never seen him clean his bowl so quickly. Since I have been feeding it to him his coat is so glossy and shiny!
As soon as you open the tin it is obvious they mean what they say - it is pure fish with no rubbish in there - it looks good enough for me!!

Fantastic
My cat adores this so much that I'm rationing it as a 'treat' for after flea-treatments, trips to the vet., etc -- a few bites and all is forgiven. From a human perspective, it (tuna and seaweed) smells less than most soft cat food and genuinely looks good enough to eat.

Fussy Eater
I must have Ireland fussiest little girl!!!! She doesnt eat much at all. She wont eat canned, jellied, pate food. She will eat kibble for indoor cats but only when she feels like it and in small quantities. Applaws Tuna Fillet is a godsend! Every morning she wolfs 1/2 can, snacks on some kibble and is finally drinking water. This is definately a big hit and great value. A bit more expensive than Sheba and 10g less. Will have to compare quality for next order.

I am soooo excited you now sell Applaws!!!!
I have emailed you lots of times asking when you were going to stock this fab product, I am so glad you now have it in stock. I am a breeder that has been using Applaws since it was launched here in the UK. All of my girls love the various varieties available, especially the tuna & seaweed. My cats find it a lot more palatable than similar foods such as Almo or Bozita. I have raised kittens on this stuff that have gone on to be UK champions. You won't be disappointed. Well done Zooplus.
